Sophie is an award winning social intrapreneur, an international marketing and sustainable business executive, systems thinker and social entrepreneur. She is passionate to leave the world a better place through the power of purposeful and sustainable leaders, businesses and brands. Sophie believes businesses can be and should be a force for good to solve social and environmental issues.
Since Sophie decided to study and work in business, she has been on a mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world. A world that is purpose driven, inclusive, regenerative and circular. Sophie has worked internationally as marketing director designing several award winning sustainability campaigns, and as Head of Sustainability in FMCG and pharmaceutical industries for 15+ years. (Procter & Gamble, Novartis). She successfully transformed organizations, people, businesses, brands and consumer habits to become more sustainable. She also helped social entrepreneurs to scale their sustainable impact.
In 2017 she founded Doing Business Doing Good (DBDG) empowering business leaders to be a force for good, offering on- and offline workshops, summits, trainings and coaching programs.
She identified an important need for education and support among conscious business leaders. Many business leaders want to leave a positive impact, but they do not know how or where to start. She experienced herself it can be a lonely journey to pioneer the change. Changemakers need each other to maximize and accelerate their positive impact.
That’s why she organized the World’s 1st Global Free Online `Doing Business & Doing Good` Summit. She interviewed 25+ sustainable leaders with the purpose to inspire, empower and equip business professionals to be a force for good and leave a positive impact. She decided to start sharing all her knowledge, tips, tools and connections out there – to help business leaders to realize the change faster.
She has developed some ground-breaking new models and methods to help people and companies to create transformative change for a better world. She takes a holistic and collaborative approach to sustainability and has helped business leaders, brands and organizations with embedding purpose and sustainability into the strategy, organizational culture and operations.
Sophie has a Master in Business Administration, a MBA specialization in CSR / Sustainability, is a B Corp Leader and holds various other sustainability certifications. She is currently teaching master students the course “Transformational Leadership for Sustainability” at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm, Germany.
She invites everyone: changemakers, conscious business leaders, social intrapreneurs, social entrepreneurs, sustainability and CSR leaders, people on the search on how to make a difference or how to scale your positive impact - to the Doing Business Doing Good platform to connect, be inspired and empowered to accelerate their sustainable transformations.
